About Old Growth Rescue
Our History
Owner/Operator Don Lester has been teaching Boat Rescue, Swiftwater Rescue, Rope Rescue and Ice Rescue full time for 15 years. As one of the lead instructors for Sierra Rescue and a Rescue 3 International Instructor Trainer he has taught groups including but not limited to Air Force Special Ops, Marine Corp, Coast Gaurd Rescue swimmers, South Korean 119 Rescue Services, Maui Fire Department, DWR, river guides and more.
Our Courses
At Old Growth Rescue, we offer 3-5 day Flood and Swiftwater Boat Operator courses as well as 3-7 day Rope Rescue Operations and Technician level courses.
